Got it for work to protect calibration wts. that are quit costly, in the neighborhood of $3/$4k and weight around 20kg.....the proverbial lead weights as it were. From previous expiereance useing pelicans at other companies i knew that when i had my own cash on the line ibhad to spend the xtra money to buy the real deal and not a Harbour Fright imitation but was a bit apprehensive about this new lighter design being able to hold the weights. Ive had it in service daily now for 6mo. and its held up just fine. The price is awful high for sure but u get what u pay for. Id once had a case from another oufit that sprung open on the way into a lab once and had to tearfully stand by as an $850 class U weight rolled down a concrete driveway rendering it good only for use in a medieval seige weapon.you get what u pay for folks.i had someone steal my last one and eject what they considered the useless weights. What does that say?
